My grandpa is so awesome; when he was young he would save up three months salary to wait in line for hours to buy tickets to see his favorite side. He said the stadiums in Moscow were small and sat only a couple hundred people and even though there were no stadium lights, everyone smoked back then and so the sparks of the match sticks lit up the stadium like camera flashes do now. He said he took my grandma on a date once to see Russia v Brazil and they watched Pele score and well, Russia lost 1-3 but he said it was one of the most amazing days of his life.
